Quran

Play Quran recitations in a voice channel, or read the Quran ayah by ayah with translation, tafsir and context. 59 reciters, 126 translations.

/quran play

Start a recitation in your voice channel, with both options searchable as you type. Pick a reciter by name, and a surah by name, English meaning, or number — ‘kahf’, ‘the cave’ and ‘18’ all find Surah 18. Both are optional: leave both out for Tawfeeq ibn Sa`id as-Sawa’igh from Al-Fatihah, name only a reciter to start them at Al-Fatihah, or name only a surah to hear Tawfeeq recite it. Each dropdown also offers 🔀 Any / Random. If a recitation is already playing, your pick plays next rather than interrupting it. Anyone can use it.

/quran player

Open the Quran player. Shows the live session with buttons for pause, resume, skip, stop, loop mode and the queue, plus Reciter and Surah dropdowns and a Confirm button — pick a reciter and a surah, then confirm to queue them to play next; nothing changes until you do. If nothing is playing, it shows a Start Listening button plus Reciter/Surah pickers to choose who reads and where it starts before you begin. Anyone can use it.

/quran radio

Admins only. Start a continuous Quran session in any voice or Stage channel without joining it yourself. Everything is on one setup screen — voice or stage, the channel, where the live message posts, plus reciter and starting surah dropdowns — and the summary updates as you choose. Reciter and surah can also be typed straight at the command, searchable as you type, which fills the screen in for you. A session started this way never pauses when the channel empties. Anyone without permission who runs this sees the player instead, with a note that radio is admin-only — and any reciter or surah they typed carries over to it.

/quran reader

Read the Quran one ayah at a time. Opens a board showing the ayah in Arabic with a translation beneath it, and everything else happens on that same board — Previous and Next, Go to ayah, a surah picker, and four things under each verse: Tafsir (20 commentaries in 6 languages, with Ibn Kathir alone available in Arabic, Bengali, Urdu and English — a language dropdown and an edition dropdown sit on the commentary page itself, and Go to page jumps through the long ones), Translation (126 editions across 67 languages, chosen the same way on one screen), Context (the two ayahs either side, with yours marked), and Listen (recites that one ayah in your voice channel). Your language and edition choices are remembered, and an edition with no commentary for an ayah says so rather than quietly showing you someone else's. Give it a surah and an ayah to land straight on a verse, or leave both off to pick up wherever you last were — your place follows you between servers. Next and Previous carry on into the next surah rather than stopping at the end of one. The board is public so others can follow along, but only the person who opened it can press its buttons. Anyone can use it.
